CHARITY RIDES

This is my 2^nd blog for this year, as I chose not to write blogs more often, not that I am lazy but most of the stuffs I see now in the Motorcycling Community is just a repetition of some formers issues that hasn’t been settled / fixed. Well, this topic will be sensitive and surely, only a few people will understand. This is about, the CHARITY RIDES.

English nanaman, teka, tatagalugin ko para maibigay ko mismo ang gusto kong sabihin. Bago pa man mabuo ang RIDE FOR A CAUSE, o mas kilala sa tawag na “RFAC”. Ako man ay nakaka attend na ng mga CHARITABLE RIDES, noong binuo ang RFAC, isang forumer lang ang nagsimula ng inisyatibo para masakatuparan ang pagbibigay ng tulong, itong former na ito ay hindi man lang nakasama kahit isang beses, sa loob ng sampung taon.

See? One initiative that started it all. Pero, ang nagbigay buhay ay ang mga riders na mas naka intindi na magbigay at magbalik ng tulong at serbisyo sa mga taong nangangailangan. And there you go, ang RFAC ay 10 years na. Yes, I was part of it,, up until a few years and different opinions and issues separated us, but the love and passion for helping others ay nandun pa din kaya nagkaron kami ng grupong LAKBAY TULONG.

Since, hindi naman pondo ng Gobyerno ang ginagamit nang mga grupong yan sa pagtulong, kaya merong guidelines noon sa paghahanap ng beneficiary. For example, dapat walang tulong na nakukuha sa LGU or at least kaunti lang. Malayo sa kabayanan at iba pa.

Sa medaling salita, nakakatulong ang mga grupong ito sa mga nangangailangan, na galling sa sarili nilang mga bulsa. PALAKPAKAN TAYO JAN RIDERS!!!

Perrrroooo, makalipas ng ilang taon, itong mga CHARITABLE RIDES na ito ay naging dahilan din ng pananamantala ng ilang tao, yung iba nahingi ng tulong para sa mga bagay na puede naman nilang ilapit sa Gobyerno, yung iba naman, talagang pangap lang.

Ilang beses na din akong nakakita at nakadinig ng balita tungkol sa mga taong nananamantala, Totoo, humihingi sila ng tulong s amay sakit, pero yung ibang walang kaluluwa ay ibinubulsa ang pera na para sana dun sa mga tutulungan.

Nakakatuwang makakita ng mga grupo na kaliwat kanang tumutulong sa mga nangangailangan, OK YAN. Pero may mga panahon na hindi lahat ng bagay ay ia-asa natin sa “hingi” ng tulong. O minsan, may kalamidad, Ok sige, magandang tumulong, ngunit itong mga bagay na ito ay dapat inaasa nanatin sa local na pamahalaan. Tumulong ka bilang Volunteer at wag ng lumikom pa ng donasyon para sa mga nasalanta.

Ang dami kasing mga grupo ngayon na kaunting disgrasya, CHARITY RIDES agad, nabasag yung kaha ng motor, CHARITY RIDES agad. Kahit kakarampot ang maibigay, kung todo litrato #FeelingBlessed #SarapTumulong hashtags agad.

Don’t get me wrong, gusto ng karamihan na Makita ang kapwa riders nating tumulong, dahil isa sa motto ko ay “Help others one step at a time”. Pero at the rate of what is going on now, nadapa lang yung bata, CHARITY RIDES agad.

Alam kong hindi maiintindihan ito ng marami, and I don’t give a fuckin fuck. Heto na ang nangyayari ngayon, imbes na mas makatulong tayo sa mas nangangailangan eh naka focus tayo sa pagtulong sa mga bagay na kaya naman nila. Masakit nun, baka madale ka pa ng BUDOL BUDOL.

Open PIPE law, Bakit napaka LABO nito?

Open pipe? Ano ba ang "sa tingin" nyo bakit madaming riders ang nagamit nito?
Sabi ng iba, para maging aware ang mga tao na may paparating na motor, ganun din sa sasakyan.
Sa iba naman eh "dagdag" power daw at hindi mainit sa makina lalo na kapag modified na ang cylinder or BORE kung tawagin ng iba..

Ano man ang dahilan nila eh sa kanila na yun.

Maraming nagamit nito ay walang konsiderasyon lalo na kapag gabi, ang mga walang aral na mga bagitong rider eh kung maka hataw sa malilit na daanan eh ganun ganun na lang.

So in return eh magaalit ang mga tao, dun na nadadamay ang buong komunidad ng pag mo-motor.

Sa makati unang umalingawngaw ang city ordinance na bawal ang naka open pipe. Maraming riders ang naging biktima at palagatasan sa batas na ito na originaly ay hindi dumaan sa public hearing.

Well, kung ang tawag nila sa mga konsehal at ilang tao na hindi lalagpas sa 50 at walang imbitadong galing sa motorcycle body eh "PUBLIC HEARING", deskripsyon nila yun.

Subalit itong ordinansang ito ay ipinapatupad ng illegal, bakit nga po ba?

Sila ang nanghuhuli ng walang tamang gadget para malaman na lumabag nga sa batas ang ingay ng tambutso!!!

Itong mga yellow boys ng makati o MAPSA eh nireredondo lang nila ang silinyador para masabing maingay ang TAMBUTSO..

Aba. aba. aba... MALI po yun mga ginoo.. ito po ay ginagamitan dapat ng "decibel meter/gauge" para po malaman natin na lagpas nga sila sa itinalang sukat ng ingay..

AT ito po ay dapat pinapatupad hindi lamang sa mga nag mo-motor.. ang batas pong yan ay hango lang naman sa pinatupad na batas ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos noong 1972

Ngaun naman po, naglabas ng isang dokumento sa Cebu na "naglilinaw" daw sa pinag kaiba ng open pipe sa after market mufflers.

missing internal components like silencing asbestos, inner tube

3. after market exhaust mufflers are allowed

My Answer:

Number 2, Defective muffler has visual defects
SO if ever sumemplang ang riders, or bumagsak ang motor at mejo nayupi ang tambutso, titiketan na ba ako agad? visual defect daw kasi hindi po ba?

Number 3, after market pipes are allowed.
Ito po ang malabo, kung allowed po ang after market pipes, bakit marami pa ding pong nahuhuli regarding sa what they called "open pipe"?

Napaka labo po nitong ruling na ito regarding sa pipes, unang una, ito po ay dapat iniimplementa hindi lamang sa naka motor, dahil ito pong batas na ito ay ginawa para sa kotse, bakit ang naka motor lang lage ang gatasan ng mga buwayang naglipana hindi lamang sa Makati pati na din sa ibang lugar tulad ng Pasig at the Fort.

Hindi po ba magkakaron ng "uniform ticketing" sa buong bansa? kung saan isang sistema lang at presyo ng tubos ang ipapatupad?

Naturingang kayo po ang mas edukado sa tingin ng iba, kayo pa po yata ang walang mga utak..

LTO, kelan po ba tayo gagawa ng aksyon sa bulok nyong systema?
Abay, hahayaan pa po ba nating pagtawanan tayo ng iba? Bulok na bulok na po ang departamento nyo eh.. baka balak nyong mag pa "fresh" ng konti sa simulaing UNIFORM TICKETING SYSTEM.


at siempre kung nakakabili ang ibang departamento ng speed gun para sa commonwealth, bakit po hindi maka iskor ang LTO ng decibel gauge para sa mga nanghuhuli na walang basehan kung hindi bombahin ang silinyador ng motor..


Napaka laking pera po ang napasok sa departamento nyo eh mukhang diretso lang sa bulsa ng mga namamahal diyan ang kinikita..

BAka lamang po.. nang TUMINO TINO ANG BATAS TRAPIKO SA BANSA NATIN..

Exploring CAVITE - First stop, Digman's halo halo in Bacoor

Digman’s Halo-Halo

Welcome to Bacoor Cavite, Home of the famous Digman’s Halo-Halo.

Digman is a baranggay near the Town Plaza of Bacoor. Digman’s Halo Halo is located along the Streets of H. Rubio and C. Gawaran. If you are a first timer, you might get confused because There are Two Digman Stores in that area. The first one you will see is the BC2 Digman Original Halo Halo (Talk of the Town) then just a stone-throw away, when you turn to the other street, you will see The Original Digman Halo-Halo and Home Made Siopao. Actually, I have tried both of them, Heard both of their Stories and Frankly, I still do not know who is the Original Digman Halo-Halo.

Both stores boast newspaper and magazine clips, they have almost identical store set-up, they sell almost the same set of products and they are both claiming to be the Original - both sounding very convincing I must say. But among those similarities, what set’s one from the other was the presence of a patent (Yes! May patent ang Halo-Halo! :p). The Original Digman Halo-Halo and Home Made Siopao (Located along H. Rubio St.) boast a patent number for their Halo-Halo. But does that mean that they are the Original? I am still confused.

Both stores offer identical halo-halo but BC2 Digman Original Halo-Halo (Located along C. Gawaran St.) offers Ice cream in their Stores, on the other hand in the Original Digman’s side, if you would like Ice Cream on your Halo-halo, they will get a scoop from the ice cream parlor beside their store. They also offer the same number of “Halo” in their products – “ ‘Sang Dosena” (But when we counted it, it was more than 12). They even taste similar! I am still Confused.

Speaking of Sandosenang Halo, probably you have seen one in side an SM Mall, in the food courts to be exact. According to BC2, they are the “Owners” or Franchise owners of the said establishment. Still Confusing? Hehe! :p

I guess you just have to decide for yourself. :) Then Tell me what you think! :)

This one is The Original Digman Halo-Halo and Home Made Siopao. ( I like their Halo-Halo Better)

This Home based Halo-Halo business has been a favorite of the Locals, Tourists, and Food Enthusiasts for more than a decade. They say that you have never been to Bacoor if you have not tried Digman’s Halo-Halo. But aside from Halo-Halo, they also offer Home Made Siopao and Pansit.

Their Halo-Halo is sweet already as it is, the sugar is served on the side, only as an option. :) Also, I prefer mine without the ice cream :)

They serve Delicious Halo-Halo All-Year-Round! Not only during Summer! So if you are in this part of town, you have to pay a visit to either one of the Two Original Stores :) It is a great alternative to Chowking’s Halo-Halo :p

Sirens prohibited by PNOY

Here we go again brethrens, Sec. Suansing want to pass another law regarding HID.

Yeah, blinkers and sirens are now prohibited and the ruling came from the President.

So the abusive politicians will not over use it.

Well, Sir, Sirens are prohibited a long time ago. Check this out.

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE No. 96 January 13, 1973

DECLARING UNLAWFUL THE USE OR ATTACHMENT OF SIRENS, BELLS, HORNS, WHISTLES OR SIMILAR GADGETS THAT EMIT EXCEPTIONALLY LOUD OR STARTLING SOUNDS, INCLUDING DOMELIGHTS AND OTHER SIGNALLING OR FLASHING DEVICES ON MOTOR VEHICLES AND PROVIDING CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS THEREFOR

WHEREAS, Presidential Proclamation No. 1081 envisioned, among other goals, the bringing about of a social order characterized by a high state of discipline and order among the citizenry;

WHEREAS, much of the chaotic conditions from which our people have suffered and still continue to suffer are the direct result of indiscriminate and unregulated use of sirens, bells, horns, whistles and similar gadgets that emit exceptionally loud or startling sounds, including domelights and other similar signalling or flashing devices attached to motor vehicles and used on the highways;

WHEREAS, it has been observed that such unregulated use of sirens, bells, horns, whistles or similar gadgets that emit exceptionally loud or startling sounds, including domelights and similar signalling or flashing devices actually impede and confuse traffic, are inconsistent with sound traffic discipline and control on the highways, and in effect constitute a major problem in the maintenance of peace and order;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and in my capacity as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, do hereby order and decree:

1. That it shall be unlawful for the owner or possessor of any motor vehicle to use or attach to his vehicle any siren, bell, horn, whistle, or other similar gadgets that produce exceptionally loud or startling sound, including domelights, blinkers and other similar signalling or flashing devices.

2. The gadgets or devices mentioned above may be attached to and use only on motor vehicles designated for official use by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, National Bureau of Investigation, Land Transportation Commission, Police Departments, Fire Departments, and hospital ambulances.

Any device or gadget installed or mounted on any motor vehicle or otherwise used in violation of this decree shall be subject to immediate confiscation and, in cases of a second and subsequent offenses, the offender shall be prosecuted for violation of this Decree before the military tribunal and, upon conviction thereof, shall suffer the penalty of imprisonment for six months and/or a fine of 600 pesos. In addition, the certificate of registration of the motor vehicle on which the unauthorized gadget or device herein mentioned is installed, mounted or used shall be cancelled or revoked.

The Commissioner of Land Transportation shall draw and promulgate such rules and regulations necessary to give effect to this Decree.

Done in the City of Manila, this 13th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-three.

On that time we don't have HIDs, so we don't have a ruling that prohibits the use of HID, HID is not a flashing device. we are clear on that.

SO we don't have a basis to apprehend those HID users. aight?

And one thing, i always see, that everytime suansing wants to ban an accesories, it is always implemented on motorcycles.

Does Suansing has a bad experience towards riders? or he want to be one but he can't?

fog lamps? you gotta be kidding me.. fog lamps that used in rally's yeah, it's prohibited.. that's way back 70's or 80's man.. fog lights? its just an auxillary light.. and it's not prohibited..

HID? tell those car companies that you're going to impound their cars for using HID as OEM bulb.

too much for Monday? well, Lets wait and see..

16th National Convention for Motorcycles - Bawal ang Underbones at scooter

Vmax owners group is hosting the 16th National Convention for Motorcycles this year at Cebu..

But underbone and scooter users aren't allowed to join..


Their Reason?

They didn't get to eat their dinner at the event, and they blame underbone and scooter users.

WTF?

why does they blame the underbone and scooter riders, they pay the same amount of fees just to attend the convention.

This is a discrimination among low displacement riders




My thoughts?

they shouldn't call it "motorcycle convention" if they wouldn't allow low dispalcements motorcycle to join. They should change it to "big bike convention" that would be much better and much more understandable.



We have a lot of motorcycle bodies in the MC Community.. But they doesn't do anything to resolve this issue, all they do is to pose..
